Hi friends! Today I wrote a guest post for the amazing Terri Ingraham over at sugarfreeglow.com. You can read a snippet here and then head on over to her site to check out the rest!
Hello friends, old and new! I’m so excited to be sharing this post with the fabulous community here at Sugar Free Glow. Terri and I were both lucky enough to take the Culinary Nutrition Expert Program at the Academy of Culinary Nutrition, so I jumped at the chance to write a guest post for her while she enjoys some summer adventures.
Speaking of, I think it’s safe to say that summer is here in all her glory! Sunshine, warm breezes, blue skies, and green leaves as far as the eye can see means that we want to be outside as much as possible, especially if we live in Canada! This outdoor lovin’ means we’re exposing our skin to UVA and UVB rays pretty regularly. I’m all about smart exposure, such as applying coconut oil (it offers UV protection minus all the junk ingredients of regular sunscreen!) and avoiding extended exposure between 10am and 2pm. However, why not start our sun protection from the inside out with the very best summer produce available? That’s why I’ve been having tons of fun coming up with delicious combinations chock-full of skin protecting, organ nourishing, and body-loving nutrients.
